The most popular lines to Poland are Tariffless / EU Tax Free, which minimise the risk of customs and tax surcharges the line covers the fees. Fast premium lines are pricier and stricter about reps. Compare available lines and prices in our parcel estimator.
Roughly: a 1-2 kg parcel costs about 120-220 PLN and 3-5 kg about 250-450 PLN, depending on the line and promos. The price grows with weight slower than the number of items so it pays off to consolidate purchases into one bigger parcel and use shipping coupons.
For Tariffless / Tax-Free lines the declaration is usually set automatically by the agent do not change it manually. On regular lines the custom is to declare a low but realistic value. Never write brand names in the customs declaration.
Average weights: shoes with box 1200-1500 g, hoodie 600-800 g, t-shirt 200-300 g, trousers 500-700 g, winter jacket 1000-1500 g. Add parcel packaging (100-300 g). Our weight calculator will do the math for you.
With Tariffless lines the risk is minimal and any fees are usually covered by the line. If a parcel is held, the customs office or courier will ask you to pay or explain. The worst case is seizure so insure pricier parcels and do not send many identical items at once on a regular line.
It is not mandatory, but for pricier parcels it is an absolute must it costs a few percent of the parcel value and protects against loss and seizure (refund up to the insured amount). For a 1500+ PLN parcel the cost is symbolic compared to the risk.
