Weidian QC Finder: real photos instead of seller photos
Weidian photos are taken by the seller, and they are usually the best-looking version of the product. QC Finder shows something else: photos taken in the agent's warehouse of actual pieces from the same listing, so you can see what the goods really look like.
The key part is the itemID parameter. Short links from the app (like k.weidian.com) work too, because the tool expands them on its own.
How to check Weidian QC in three steps
Copy the listing linkOn Weidian, tap share and copy the address. In a browser the address bar is enough, together with the itemID parameter.
Paste it into the QC searchNo need to remove or shorten anything. An app link is expanded automatically.
Compare it with the listingSwitch between the seller photo and the QC photo. Differences in colour and finish usually jump out straight away.
How do QC photos differ from Weidian photos?
Listing photos are marketing material: good lighting, edited colour, sometimes a photo of the original instead of the replica. QC is a quick photo taken in the warehouse under artificial light, of the piece that is about to ship to the buyer. That is why QC looks worse but tells the truth, while the listing looks better than it should.
Why does the same item on Weidian have several listings?
Because sellers resell goods from the same factories. That is where the idea of a batch comes from: one model can come from several production lines that differ in quality and price. QC is the fastest way to check which version you are dealing with before you pay.
Weidian vs other source platforms
Weidian: the most clothing and shoe listings, retail prices, and sellers often run a Yupoo too.
Taobao: a bigger selection and richer product pages, but middleman listings are more common.
1688: a wholesale platform with usually the lowest prices for larger quantities, but product pages can be sparse.
FAQ: Weidian QC
Will a link from the Weidian app work?
Yes. Short addresses are expanded automatically, just paste them.
Do I need a Weidian account?
No. The QC photos come from the agent's warehouse, not from your Weidian account.
Does QC show the exact piece I will get?
No. These are photos of pieces from earlier orders of the same listing. They show what to expect, not your specific pair.
The seller changed the listing photos. Does the QC still apply?
Usually yes, as long as the goods themselves have not changed. If QC photos start to differ a lot from each other, it is a sign that the seller is mixing batches.
